Emma St. Lawrence (they/them) recently completed their doctorate in Media Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, researching technospiritual futures and the mediation of reality through narrative.
Emma completed their BA in English and film studies at King’s College London and their MA in cinema and media studies with a certificate in film archiving and preservation at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
Outside of academia, Emma works in arts marketing and as a digital media consultant for labor unions across the United States. You can find their recent work in Religions, Spectator, Entity Mag, and forthcoming in Zygon Journal of Religion and Science and from Bloomsbury Publishing.
